Hi folks – I am currently working on a re-write of this section.

In a nutshell, the Kractal project posits that we need to create a mechanism that enables a more granular delineation of knowledge domains that can facilitate a collective conversation about the optimal ‘target’ socio-environmental balance point that we want to optimise towards at each scale ie. within each community at local, regional and global scales.

This is current embodied by mechanisms such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Kractal framework is designed to enable a finer granularity across all fields of human endeavour…and therefore more tangible and measurable targets that local communities can feel are appropriately contextualised for their own situations.

This connects into other frameworks such as ‘liveability’ to ensure local community agency and empowerment.
